New York Clinic has two doors - one for the rich, one for the poor
I’ve been waiting to see if this would hit the mainstream - customers who drop cold hard cash can get some sort of unique, botique, and individualized treatment; while us plebians with health insurance get the standard runaround.
Am I opposed to this? No.
I understand exactly why there are two doors - it is the way our healthcare system has created itself. Insurance premiums go up and up while reimbursements (payments to the healthcare professionals) go lower and lower.
